While the British Parliament is in summer recess, the House of Commons and House of Lords are opening their doors to the public for the first time.
The guided tours of the Palace of Westminster continue to September 16, excluding Sundays.
They include the Queen's robing room, royal gallery, debating chambers and the oldest part of the palace, Westminster Hall. Tickets, which must be bought 12 days in advance, cost £3.50 ($11). Contact: www.ticketmaster.co.uk
