Hardy souls can get a team together for the annual snorkel and scuba race and mid-winter swim from Russell to Paihia on July 24.
Teams consisting of five snorkellers and one scuba diver can compete in the 3.5km relay and must register before the day.
Meanwhile, on Paihia Beach kids can participate in the icebreaker, where they swim out to retrieve iceblocks dropped from a boat.
It starts at 11am and they can register on the day.
