Born to busk

National and international buskers have taken over Christchurch for the World Buskers' Festival, which runs until January 25.

Jugglers, mime artists, comedians, escapologists, magicians, acrobats, contortionists and clowns perform throughout the day and evening at different venues around the city.

More than 330 shows will take place, and on Wednesday, January 28 at 7pm, a three-hour post-festival gala show features headline acts from the festival.

The show is in the Christchurch Town Hall Auditorium and is restricted to people 16 and over.
