Try grabbing hold of a tornado when Earth's Fury arrives at the Hawkes Bay Exhibition Centre in Hastings next month.
At this interactive exhibition with 18 hands-on experiments visitors can experience earthquake simulators, fluidised sand beds and wind tunnels and even try to create their own tsunami.
The event aims, in a fun way, to increase our understanding of the hazards that face New Zealand.
Emergency services will be at the opening of Earth's Fury on Saturday, October 19, to explain disaster recovery and rescue activities.
The exhibition, which was developed by the Science Alive Centre, runs until November 29; entry is free.
