The Hastings Blossom Festival provides a wealth of entertainment between September 15 and 24. The city centre takes on a mardi gras atmosphere on September 16, with a street party following the popular Blossom Festival Parade. Things wind up with a fireworks display on the last weekend, and in between there's music ranging from Mozart to Marlene Dietrich.
