Blooming treks in the Himalayas

From March to May the mountains of the Nepalese Himalayas are splashed with the crimson blooms of rhododendrons, making it one of the most colourful times for a trek in Nepal.

Australian trek company Peregrine has lodge-based treks to the Mt Everest region departing weekly from March until May for $3294 from Kathmandhu.

There are also treks to other regions of Nepal.
