The awesome Velociraptor, made famous in Jurassic Park, is one of 11 dinosaur skeletons on display in the Chinese Dinosaurs exhibition at the Otago Museum.
While the 9m-high Omeisaurus and a 23m-long Mamenchisaurus dominate the display, there are also dinosaur eggs, claws, teeth, skeletal spines, large plesiosaurs, tiny nothosaurs, turtles and other marine reptiles.
The museum's biggest and oldest display was developed by the Australian Museum, the Beijing Natural History Museum and the Zigong Dinosaur Museum. Runs August 30-November 2.
