Florida's Orlando International Airport has opened a fourth terminal in an effort to keep up with the ever-growing number of tourists flowing to the area's theme parks and resorts.
The opening of the 16-gate $US130 million terminal on October 20 marks the end of 20 years of planning and two years of construction. About 30 million passengers will pass through the Orlando airport this year. That is expected to grow to 38 million by 2005.
