Beat the winter chill at Auckland hot pools

Winter is a great time to visit one of the thermal pools in the Auckland region. Aquatic Park Parakai Springs, 35 minutes' drive from downtown Auckland, offers a huge outdoor thermal pool, heated to 34C, a large, hot (40C) indoor pool, two thrilling enclosed water slides, private spa pools, a cafe, and a picnic and barbecue area.
