Bay of Islands oyster festival

Oyster lovers will be heading to Russell in the Bay of Islands on Saturday, September 1 for the annual oyster festival.

The fun kicks off at 11 am and will include a street parade, oyster demonstrations, competitions, food stalls and oyster dishes.

Tickets, adult $8, child $2.
