Bath hosts Jane Austen Festival

The Georgian city of Bath in England will hold its first Jane Austen Festival next month, and plans to make it an annual celebration of the writer.

Films, theatre, lectures, walks and museum events will all be part of the reminiscing during the weekend of September 28 to 30.

Jane Austen spent much of her time in Bath, and included it in her works Persuasion and Northanger Abbey.
