Bali for families

Planning for holidaying families is a growing requirement for hotels in Bali, as more New Zealanders choose Indonesia for their break.

The latest package from Garuda Indonesia and Garuda Orient Holidays is aimed at families. Two adults and one child under 12 years of age get six nights' accommodation, return airfares and airport transfers from $3875. Departures are from September 20 to October 31.

To cater to the growing number of families heading to Bali, Garuda Indonesia has increased the age limit for children who qualify for the 75 per cent of adult airfares rate from 11 years to 14.

Hotels in Bali are now offering new family packages, discounts on meals, children's clubs and babysitting services. Many of the family friendly hotels are highlighted in the "Bali on ANY Budget" brochure, available at travel agencies.
