Back to former glory for Stafford Villa

North Shore City's gracious Stafford Villa in Birkenhead Point has been restored by Chris and Mark Windram and opened as a boutique hotel.

The 97-year-old kauri villa is furnished with Asian and European antiques. The tariff starts at $190 a double, including gourmet breakfast.
