Australians love to mark their towns with enormous novelty items even more than the good people of Ohakune love a giant carrot. There are an estimated 150 giant objects scattered throughout Australia, from the Big Scotsman in Medindie, Adelaide, to the Big Poo in Kiama, NSW.

Now, the Big Bogan joins the list, standing proudly at 3.6m high with his mullet, stubbies and thongs, in the NSW town of Nyngan. He won't feel lonely.
