Authentic, military-style on the outside, and all customer service and tourism in mind in the inside, the Warbird Dakota DC3 is a familiar sight over Auckland, flown by professional aircrew and operated from Warbirds' headquarters at Ardmore Airfield.
Sundays are reserved for scenic flights over Auckland when passengers enjoy tea, coffee and home baking before departures.
The aircraft can be chartered for scenic flights, school groups, universities, corporate, sports, golf, and wine tours to other airfields.
Adults fly for $65 each or $60 if they are over 60, and children fly for $40. There is also an adult and child ticket for $100. Groups of six fly for $360.
