Auckland airport shuttle fleet upgrade

Travellers using Auckland Airport can now get to and from the city by bus in greater comfort.

Auckland Airbus, which runs the only scheduled bus service between the city centre and the domestic and international airports, is replacing its fleet with seven purpose-built vehicles.

The owner-operated airport buses include on-board videos of the city's attractions, brochure racks and wheelchair access.

The Airbus visits most city hotels and backpacker hostels with departures every 20 minutes. The fare is $12 a person.
