Sculpture on the Gulf on Waiheke Island allows visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery along Church Bay Walkway, Matiatia Harbour, while viewing work by some of New Zealand's most thought-provoking artists. The exhibition opens with a gala celebration on January 27 and runs until February 13. The event is free, but a guided tour is available for $30 a person. Bookings are essential.
