Art exhibition in a sacred place

A little corner of the Auckland Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is to become an art gallery for three days.

Ten art galleries from throughout Auckland will supply 40 works by well-known New Zealand artists for the fund-raising exhibition and art sale.

A portion of the profits will go to the Royal New Zealand Ballet.

The exhibition opens at 10am on Friday, April 19 in the visitors' centre at the Auckland Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Parnell, and closes at 4pm on Sunday.
