All decked out at Woodlands

The Christmas theme at Waikato's historic Woodlands Homestead and Gardens is "Deck the Halls".

A designer has been working on intricate decorations for many months, and visitors to the majestic homestead will feel immersed in the spirit of a traditional Christmas.

The display is open Thursday, December 1 to Sunday, January 8, 10am - 4pm, closed Christmas and Boxing Days.

Admission $5 (adults), under 15s free.

Visitors can also enjoy the new Woodlands Country Cafe, which offers a mix of old favourites and new dishes. Cafe bookings are advised.

Woodlands is at 42 Whitikahu Rd, Gordonton.
