Escape New Zealand's wettest and coldest weeks and head for a different body of water in the South of France.
Jennie and Marcus Benecke, of the Christchurch-based European Mountain Treks, will lead a 30-day trip in late June that includes two weeks sailing the Canal du Midi.
The tour begins by exploring Paris, then heads for Bordeaux, and includes time on the Mediterranean coast and in the ancient city of Arles.
Departing on June 22, the cost from Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington twin share is $7228 a person.
