Adventures for women

For women who like the idea of taking time to explore New Zealand with other women, tour company Driftwood Dreamers will make its first adventure journey through the North Island in February.

Up to 10 women, aged 35 and over, can join the three-week tour. Activities include white-water rafting and kayaking, a scenic flight and sailing on an old schooner. Accommodation ranges from one night in a bush-hut to bed and breakfasting, motels and a rural marae.

Other trips have an emphasis on fishing or golfing.
