A whole lot of love

Love is in the air for a Valentine's Day Sealord Opera in the Park sunset concert in Stoke, Nelson, on Saturday.

Enjoy a romantic picnic under the stars as the Christchurch Symphony presents Puccini and Verdi love music, and singers perform love songs from great musicals.

The fireworks finale reflects the theme in candles, hearts and roses, and is made more stunning with 3D hologram Love Glasses that create hearts around every point of light.

The glasses can be bought before the event.

There will be food stalls and the Opera Bar will sell wine and beer.

Adults $10, children $5. Gates open at 5pm, with music from 7.30pm to 10pm, Saxton Field, Main Rd, Stoke.
