A Sydney view to celebrate

One of Sydney's best-appointed hotels is offering special packages to celebrate the opening of its luxury suites and top-drawer rooms.

Le Meridien Sydney, nestled between the inner-city's George and York Sts, opened in April and last month Le Royal Club opened on the hotel's top five floors with a selection of 39 prestige rooms and five suites, all with views of Darling Harbour and the city.

Until the end of this month, travellers can stay in Le Royal Club for $A250 single to $A270 double a night.

All rooms have voice mail, modem access, direct-dial telephone, internet keyboard and Sony PlayStation.

Bathrooms come with robe, slippers and scales. A continental breakfast and evening drinks are part of the package.
