Lovers of oysters and other seafood will be in seventh heaven during the Bluff Oyster and Southland Seafood Festival on April 17.
Participants can devour fresh Bluff oysters, sample other local seafood and wash down the delicacies with fine Central Otago wines.
Events will include oyster eating and opening competitions, creativity awards such as oyster shell sculptures, and wearable arts fashioned from oyster sacks, plus a chefs' cook-off.
The glamorous Southern Seas Ball is held the evening before.
