A fine drop at the BrewNZ festival

Beer lovers should mark June 2-6 in their diaries and book a flight to Wellington for the BrewNZ festival.

Participating restaurants and bars provide circuits showcasing beer and food matches prepared by Wellington chefs.

They are also hosting international and local brewers and providing tastings.

Eleven beers have been brewed specifically and there's a series of tutored tastings, as well as an expo where you can sample the finest brews, talk to the brewers and discover their secrets and meet beer lovers from around the country.

There's also an opportunity for personal brewers to have their beer assessed by experts.
