A European trip for opera lovers

Dame Malvina Major is heading back to Europe and wants to take travel-hungry, music-loving New Zealanders with her.

The opera singer is joining forces with conductor Brian Law to lead a music-filled tour of Austria and Italy.

The trip, from August 1 to 20, includes the Salzburg Festival, Bregenz Festival, Puccini Festival, Torre del Lago and Verona.

Tour members will enjoy operatic performances and visit sites associated with some of the great composers.
