A Masterton budgeting worker who stole at least $11,100 from vulnerable clients has been warned to prepare for her name suppression to be lifted.

About $500,000 in costs is being sought from fire starters whose fires burned out of control in the past year, says Wairarapa principal rural fire officer Phill Wishnowsky.
