The man who fled the country with Rotorua woman Kara Hurring after millions of dollars was mistakingly placed in their bank account has been arrested by Interpol while trying to cross from Hong Kong into China.

A family living on one of New Zealand's richest streets were subjected to a frightening home invasion in which a teenage girl was tied up and robbed. The girl was startled in bed by the intruder while family members slept upstairs.
