Source: Youtube/The Strength Doc An American powerlifter has recorded one of the most impressive world records in weightlifting history. Competing for Team USA at 2016 IPF World Classic Powerlifting Championships in Texas, Ray Williams set a world record squat of 438 kgs (965.6lbs).

Vasquez remained in the choke for a long time after falling unconscious, and the referee in question has been lambasted in the MMA media for failing to protect the fighter in a timely fashion.
