Four players have been called into the All Blacks squad this week to cover injury concerns, with the team arriving back in Wellington to prepare for the second Bledisloe Cup test.
A day that started with so much promise with another great start by skipper Dean Barker that slingshot the AC72 several hundred metres into the lead after mark 1. By the time the AC72 had reached the top of the course again a small gear issue stopped it in it's tracks allowing Luna Rossa to sail up from 400 metres behind and into the lead to take a valuable race point.

Steve Hansen discusses Dan Carter being on the sideline while his calf injury heals. All Blacks coach Steve Hansen labelled Carter as a "red flag athlete'' last year due to his recurring leg problems, which have also included groin and hamstring issues.
Dan Carter has been ruled out of all rugby for three to four weeks due to a calf strain. Carter's injury was revealed by APNZ this morning, with the All Blacks today confirming the problem, which will rule the first-five out of this Saturday's Bledisloe Cup test against Australia in Sydney and the return encounter in Wellington a week later.
