Matthias Jordan: Cosmetic Torment

Watch Cosmetic Torment, the new video from Matthias Jordan, directed by Christopher Nicholls.

"I first heard/saw Matthias playing one night at Golden Dawn and was totally blown away by his sound - it was just the sort of thing I like to listen to. I seem to remember after the gig telling him how great he was and then having some trouble trying to figure out how to pronounce his name when he introduced himself.

"Anyway I downloaded his EP - The Sound of Asia - and could not stop listening to it. Images and scenes kept forming in my head from memories that his music evoked - I knew I had to make this guy a video. I was inspired by the music videos I watched when I was a kid growing up in the 80s - primitive computer graphics, basic video effects, random stock footage and a cool guy with big hair dancing round in a sweet jacket..."
