Vodafone NZ Music Awards finalists Aaradhna and P-Money have teamed up with Vodafone to produce new single Dapper Man, which will also feature on the new VNZMA smartphone App.

“It’s always a great feeling to put new music out and I’m excited to launch Dapper Man with Vodafone’s Music Award app,” says Aaradhna.

"Dapper Man is about a type of man who is smooth, charming, respectable, clean cut and knows how to take care of himself. It’s a song expressing love for those kinds of qualities.”

The music video stars Aaradhna, P­?Money, plus Vodafone ambassador and Boy star James Rolleston.

Dave Dobbyn has received the ultimate Kiwi music accolade - being inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.

The singer-songwriter was honoured in recognition of his near 40-year career at the APRA Silver Scroll Awards.

Dobbyn is a three-time past Silver Scroll winner for Beside You (1998), You Oughta Be In Love (1987) and Belle of the Ball (1993).

The Moots

The Moots are an alternative trio from Auckland's North Shore. The band consisting of Gabriel Everett, Guy Beca and Zander de Reuck were the runners up of Smokefree Rockquest 2013. Be watching FOUR on Saturday October 12 at 5.00pm to see their performance at the National Final.

Robbie Ellis has made a very clever mash-up that has a very in joke to Kiwi audiences, mixing Lorde's lyrics for Royals over the melody and accompaniment of Dave Dobbyn's Loyal. Why did he do it? 'just because' is his answer.

Temuera Morrison is known for playing iconic tough guy 'Jake the Muss' in Once Were Warriors back in the early 1990's, he is stepping into the ring for real as part of the under-card for Joseph Parker and say's he isn't the fighter Jake was.
