He fled New Zealand 12 years ago to dodge drugs charges, now he's been found guilty of a brutal knife attack in Scotland.

Police have charged a man with four counts of murder following yesterday's fire at an aged care facility.

According to Christchurch Police, murder victim Jade Bayliss was "subject to an assault" before the fatal fire. Police are still working to determine whether the fire played a part in her death.
