The market for large-scale dairy units has slowed as the sector has become a "lot harder," says Camron Meade.
PGG Wrightson Real Estate's National Sales Manager caught up with The Country's Jamie Mackay for an update on the rural real estate market.
Mackay asks if buyers are being "scared off" the dairy industry due to Mycoplasma bovis and a "Government that's not sympathetic to that sector".
"Dairy's topical. It's always in the press for one reason or the other," says Meade, "there are still challenges around the environmental effects and lending into that sector in particular."
