The Southern Field Days opened yesterday in the Southland town of Waimumu, 14km south-west of Gore.
The three-day event sees businesses promoting technology and services to Southland's rural community.
One of the biggest drawcards is a 500hp tractor, the biggest conventional wheeled tractor in the world.
The Southern Field Days runs until Friday.
