Further work is underway to clear the flood-wrecked Sutton suspension bridge near Middlemarch.
The historic 19th Century bridge was destroyed during the floods in July and a decision is yet to be made as to whether it can be repaired.
The four stone columns and steel cables that held the bridge up have already been removed and stored.
Yesterday a bulldozer and two diggers pulled one half of the collapsed bridge deck out of the river. It was hoped the other half would be removed today.
