Hundreds of farmers have gathered at the Mega Cow in Morrinsville, for a protest against Labour's water tax.
The town is in the heart of the Waikato, generally an area which supports National's pro-farming policies.
The famous tractor driven up Parliament's steps in 2003 to protest a flatulence tax at the time has made an appearance, bearing placards taking aim at Labour.
