It took her four years but Molly Farrand of Marton's plan to set up a community street trolley filled with free vegetables and produce was fulfilled this year.
"I bought the little barrow originally from a florist who was selling up but it took me a while to get it going."
Molly remembers her years struggling as a single mum. She said the idea of a barrow where people brought produce was an ideal community venture and was perfect for people finding it tough financially.
Molly's Trolley has now been parked outside the Project Marton office in High St since the beginning of the year, "about the same time as the Marton community garden was started", she said.
The little covered trolley attracts a lot of attention and there are many regulars who fill the barrow with fresh free range eggs and bunches of veg from the community and private gardens.
