This last week has again been a busy time for Levin police staff with all the usual complaints, offences and calls for assistance featuring.
Some great work has been done by our front line staff.
Road policing featured in last week's report and predictions of high traffic volumes over the Labour Weekend holiday period certainly turned out to be the case.
The usual bottlenecks and heavy traffic at Otaki and Otaihanga once again caused delays, so it was great to hear there were no crashes involving serious injury in the Horowhenua that I am aware of.
This is an outstanding result and people travelling on the roads should be commended for their patience and safe driving.
