Crossbred adult wool prices were softer compared to recent sales, with better style fleece types least affected at this week's South Island wool sale.
Crossbred lambs wool continued to attract solid demand with 30 micron and broader types most affected, PGG Wrightson Wool's South Island sales team said.
A feature from recent sales had been older seasons wool being offered on to the market with wool growers being prepared to meet the demand.
