Whanganui Police are seeking the public's help after 10 sheep were stolen from a property in Matarawa Valley Rd.
Senior Sergeant Shayne Wainhouse said the sheep were taken from the Okoia property between 6pm on Thursday, November 16, and 7am on Friday, November 17.
"The sheep were next to sheep yards and there was evidence that they had been dragged into the yards and loaded out," Mr Wainhouse said.
"A reasonably big stock trailer or similar would have been needed to move that number of sheep so we'd like to hear from anyone in the area during that period who saw a vehicle with a stock trailer or sheep."
Anyone with information should contact Whanganui Police on 349 0600 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
