The Rotorua community can get a taste of the countryside with two fun-filled days coming up this weekend.
The Rotorua A&P Show is on tomorrow and Sunday from 8.30am to 5pm at the Agrodome.
Heather Brake, Rotorua Agricultural and Pastoral Association president, says there will be entertainment, animal displays including police dogs and sheep dog trials, mini horses, old farm machinery, food and trade sites, shearing and wool handling, and highland dancing.
The show will also include alpacas, goats, children's games, a colouring competition, a children's competition where they can win a bike.
It will also feature axeman competitions, with this year being the A&P Axeman's Club 50th anniversary.
