Record numbers attend Fieldays

MYSTERY CREEK - A record second-day crowd poured through the gates at Fieldays yesterday.

Yesterday's crowd took the total number of visitors before gates opened today to 56,933.

Last year 28,806 attended on Thursday.

The 2005 Fieldays best site award winners were announced yesterday with the Jubilee Trophy awarded to Onga NZ Ltd for its continued contribution to the spirit of Fieldays.
