Sharyn Miller and Brenna Sharland, from the New Zealand Merino Company, sort entries in this year's Child Cancer Foundation fleece competition.

A record 147 entries have been received for the competition which is held in conjunction with the Otago Merino Association's Merino Excellence Awards in Queenstown on May 20.

The popular competition, which has a new format this year, has raised more than $200,000 for the foundation over the years. All entries will be on display at the awards function.
