Swannanoa brothers Tyler (9, left) and Lucas (12) Waghorn are proud of ewe Tiny Little Big's four lambs.
''We thought it was unusual, but when I mentioned it to people, there's been quite a few of them (quad lambs) this spring,'' their mother Debbie Waghorn said.
Tiny Little Big was once the biggest of the pet lambs being bottle-fed by Lucas and Tyler.
The Waghorn family was displaced by the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes from Brooklands, north of Christchurch and settled on a 4ha lifestyle block at Swannanoa.
They keep a couple of ewes and wethers and an Arapawa ram named Coco Pops.
A paddock is also kept aside for making hay and karting.
