Siblings Jonty, Bridget and Sophie Pye are proud of the projects taking shape on their family's South Canterbury farm - so much so, they have entered in a competition.
Jonty (10), Bridget (11) and Sophie (14) filmed the various projects taking shape on the farm as part of the Farm for Our Future competition being run by Agrecovery.
Participants must showcase, on video, what great environmental action they have been taking on their farm, for the chance to win $500 for themselves and $500 for a school of their choice.
Jonty said their lizard farm, plantings along creeks and efficient use of irrigators were among the projects to appear on their film, which also features supplied drone footage.
The trio, who each attend different schools - Jonty goes to Waihi, Bridget goes to Selwyn House and Sophie goes to Rangi Ruru - have selected Winchester Rural School to receive prize money if they win the competition.
