Jamie Mackay wants to know what Don Carson thinks about Dr Joy's comments that we need to have no animal products in the food chain by 2050.
Carson ponders this statement along with the prediction that meat in the future will be the domain of the rich only. This inturn could lead to meat alternatives for those who can't afford the real deal.
Animal products doesn't just mean meat of course and Joy's statement includes a ban on dairy as well. Could this be the way of the future? Is Dr Mike Joy onto something?
