The Country: We ask the Minister for Primary Industries if the latest bobby calf cruelty video is an example of one or two bad apples or symptomatic of an industry that needs to change.

The latest bobby calf abuse video is another blow for the dairy industry, but is it only a few bad apples spoiling the bunch?

The Country's Jamie Mackay asks Minister for Primary Industries Nathan Guy for his thoughts on the troubling subject.

Guy is concerned with the images he has seen on the video in question but he says that farmers in general had adhered to the changes brought in after initial abuse footage surfaced.

Minister Guy says most farmers do a good job but some out there still don't treat their animals appropriately.

MPI will come down "very hard" on these farmers.
