A man was found dead near a motorbike on a Central Hawke's Bay farm yesterday following a suspected medical event.
Police and emergency services provided medical attention after the discovery at 5am yesterday, but the man in his 50s died at the scene.
Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter general manager Ian Wilmot said the rescue service was called to the scene at the same time but the man was deceased on arrival.
A police spokesperson said the incident was understood to be a medical event and police referred to it as a sudden death.
The death was referred to WorkSafe and will be referred to the coroner.
