If you want to know which wine to pair with your rolled lamb shoulder you should look no further than "snob" Jeremy Rookes of Two Farmer Js fame, says The Country's Jamie Mackay.

Rookes naturally takes offense at such a title before launching into his suggestion of enjoying his lamb shoulder with a watermelon and feta salad along with a cheeky Syrah.

Meanwhile Jason Uden has other things on his mind than the "vanilla and pink marshmallow smoothie" tones of Rookes' Syrah. Uden wants to know why Kiwis aren't insulating their houses with wool, saying it's "completely unpatriotic."
